Lean Construction Practitioner Programme Level 1
Deliver each project on time and in budget by developing employee capability in lean construction techniques.
These techniques will enable your team to target improvements in; programme certainty, productivity, quality, cost reduction and health and safety.
The programme is delivered in three phases; an initial e-learning block, a week long practical deployment workshop and an on site project targeting real improvement in your company.
It is ideal for employees who:
- Work in teams applying diagnostic, planning and lean tools in order to improve business performance.
- Are leading or facilitating teams critical to successful project delivery.
- Will progress to senior lean leadership roles with responsibility for setting lean strategy and building teams.
Successful delegates will be able to actively deploy improvement activities and be awarded the Level 1 Certificate of Lean Competency. They will also be eligible for LCS Practitioner Membership, providing opportunities for continuing professional development.

The LCS is the only university accredited framework to qualify individuals based on their knowledge and practical application of lean. Originally developed by the Lean Enterprise Research Centre at Cardiff University, the LCS is a licensed service of the university.
We are the only accredited provider for the LCS Certificate of Lean Competency in the construction sector.
